Stretching. . . .ROM
Last night was awesome. I came home from work and relaxed. I watched a movie Gone Baby Gone. It was really good. Then I watched the Weather Channel March of the Penguins.
It was an awesome show about how the penguins survive out there in the bitter cold of winter. They even showed them giving birth to their babies. Awesome show of dedication to the baby. I watched this with my ice cream. I did not have any ice cream in a very long time so I got some today and watched tv. I went to bed after discovery.
I was up early this morning. I thought why not do my stretching routine. So I went ahead and did the routine. It is a great workout. Jeff one of my running friend found an article on range of motion and sent it to me recently. He found the article on runner’s world. I am not going to go into every single thing that I did because you can click the link and chick it out for yourself.
I stretched for about 45 mins and it really got the blood moving. I really need to do more of this and I am going to incorporate this into my day at least three times a week.
I have alot to do this morning and afternoon to prepare for tmw. II going to do some laundry. I go through my running clothes so fast. It seems as though I am washing my running gear all the time. I find that if I don’t throw them in the wash every couple of days they really start to get funky.
I need to get my gear ready and check the weather for the morning temp to dress accordingly. I am going down to the race expo at 1. I am going to drop off my gels for Debbie before I leave for Harrisburg.
I reread my mid week post about the things that I need to focus on and I am going to keep to that. I am actually going to drink all day and cut myself off from fluids at 6 pm tonight. But I am going to pound alot today during the day. I am going to do lots of water and gatorade today. I am going to eat early tonight and go to bed early. I am going to post pics today from the expo.
Well I need to get moving. Everyone stay posted for updates during the day.
