30 min Easy Run
I must say that running in this type of weather seems much better for me than running in the heat. I feel as though my running economy is much better. I am realizing the little mechanics make a huge difference in your runs.
I am also realizing that I need to stretch more. I have noticable fatigue in my right knee and ankle. But as soon as I get warmed up it goes away. I think that is because when I get out there I just go on my runs. There is not much stretching going on.
After the Harrisburg Marathon I said that I was going to make sure that I stretch more. I need to follow up with that promise. Range of motion is very important. I did not do a very good job of that in the past and think this will help me to avoid those minor aches and pains.
I went out at 7:49 and turned it up a notch on the way back. I did 7:00 flat to finish it up.
